In Grow a Garden, the wind of time changes as the Zen starts to confront the dark energy that opposes it. The Corrupt mutation has infiltrated our picturesque garden in an attempt to subdue the power of peace. It isn’t easy to obtain, but it adds balance to the in-game event, even though its usage is not as significant. Learn how to get a corrupt mutation in Grow a Garden by following this guide.
How to Get the Corrupt Mutation in Grow a Garden
Here are the best ways to get the Corrupt mutation in the game:
1. Corrupted Aura Event
In Grow a Garden, the Corrupted Aura is a weather event that lasts for ten minutes and occurs every hour. During this event, you can get the Corrupt mutation for your plants. To successfully get this mutation on most of your plants, make sure you know the best plants to use in your garden.
2. Corrupted Staff and Mutation Spray
Leveling up the corrupted tree will grant you random rewards like the Corrupted staff and Corrupted mutation spray. The staff operates similarly to Star Caller’s. This suggests that plants within the radius of the Corrupted Aura event pick up the Corrupt mutation.
While the staff’s effects are random, the Corrupt Mutation Spray can cause a guaranteed mutation on a single plant. Hold it in your palm and click on the crop of your choosing to apply it.
3. Corrupted Kodama
In the game, the Corrupt mutation can also be acquired through the Corrupted Kodama pet. Players have a 4.35% chance of getting the Corrupted Tree by growing it. This Grow a Garden pet has a 4% chance of applying the Corrupt mutation when gathering any Zen plant.
4. Grow Corrupt Tree

Give the Corrupt Channeller NPC a crop that has the Tranquil mutation and the necessary weight. You will gain corruption points and the corrupted tree will grow as a result. The tree and the points will be reset every hour, and the points will be transferred to random fruits in your garden as corrupt mutations.
How many crops in your garden already carry this mutation? Please let us know in the comments.
